The main goal of this project is to promote the values of humanity and equality among young people, as well as encouraging their knowledge and understanding of the meaning of democracy, its principles and its benefits. It will achieve this through various artistic activities: performances, dances, drawing and some others.
Participants from Czech RepublicUkraine, Estonia, Georgia, Spain and Romania will gain practical knowledge about theimportance of democracy, the role of citizens in a democracy, the importance of civicengagement, and the differences between democracy and other systems. They will alsogain skills in problem solving, decision making, communication, and collaboration.
Furthermore, the project will provide participants with the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a local context by creating projects that address important issues in their local community. Finally, the youth exchange will encourage participants to thinkcritically and creatively about the challenges and opportunities of democracy, and todevelop strategies to foster dialogue and understanding between different groups.
