My volunteering journey:

In August, I arrived in Tišnov to begin a new chapter in my life as a volunteer. Looking back, I can confidently say that this experience has been transformative in the most positive way.

During my time here, I assisted an English teacher in the classroom and supported the organization in various tasks. Through these activities, I not only gained valuable experience but also had the chance to grow personally and professionally. I felt that my contributions were appreciated, and I was always welcomed with warmth and kindness.

The environment in Tišnov has been incredibly friendly and supportive. I met wonderful people, made meaningful connections, and found a sense of belonging that I hadn't felt in a long time. Being here helped me shift my mindset from feeling stuck in negativity to embracing a more positive and hopeful outlook on life.

Because of this, I have decided to stay here longer. The atmosphere, the people, and the overall spirit of the town have made me feel at home. I'm especially thankful for my coordinators, who guided and supported me throughout this journey. I'd like to give special thanks to Jitka Corcechová, whose kindness, patience, and encouragement meant so much to me.

This experience will always hold a special place in my heart, and I am deeply grateful for everything I've learned and the joy I've found here.
